After failing their San Andreas driving test, redditor MotorDesigner reached out to the GTA subreddit for advice on the best way to get around the city without a car - legally, in other words, even though the concept is comically novel in any GTA game, of course. Admittedly, the in-game driving test doesn’t look too troublesome - questions include when it’s permissible to run a red light, what the correct driving position is, and how best to drive when “getting serviced orally by a girl while driving” - MotorDesigner failed to meet the San Andreas Department of Motor Vehicles’ low, low standards, and therefore cannot drive legally in the city....

Lehto founded V1 Interactive in 2016, and Disintegration - a sci-fi-hued blend of first-person shooter and real-time strategy game set against a futuristic backdrop of climate change, pandemic, and war - launched in June last year. Bertone worked on Bungie’s five Halo games before leaving the studio ahead of its work on Destiny, but will now return to the series. The news was shared on Twitter by Joseph Staten, head of creative for Halo Infinite. “I’m happy to confirm Halo veteran Paul Bertone has joined the team as Studio Technical Design Director. Paul and I met in 1999, back in Bungie’s Chicago days, and then shipped Halo 1-3, ODST and Reach together,” he said....

It’s perhaps not a total shock given recent word on the project indicated filming in Alberta, Canada was still ongoing and would continue until July, but HBO chief content officer Casey Bloys has now made it official. “It’s not going to air in 2022,” he told Deadline, “they are still shooting in Canada. I imagine you will see it in ‘23”. Bloys also added that he’s seen some early episodes and was “very excited” about its progress....

Alone in the Dark As rumoured, the grandaddy of survival horror is back in what THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive is calling a “reimagining” of the 1992 original. It’s being written and directed by Mikael Hedberg, who wrote the stunning Soma at Frictional Games, and is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC at a later date. The video, below, shows the Stargate: Timekeepers segment of Slitherine’s Home of Wargamers event. It debuts the In Plain Site mission, in which the Stargate team, including sniper Max Bolton and technical officer Sam Watson, attempt to put down a sacrifice ritual inside the Jaffa village by disguising themselves as the enemy. The stealth heavy Stargate: Timekeepers, developed by Creative Forge Games (Hard West, Phantom Doctrine), looks heavily inspired by the Commandos series (this is not a guns blazing type of game)....
