Speaking to IGN, Hasan Kahraman of Blue Box Game Studios said the developer had removed older tweets about the game in a bid to keep information surrounding Abandoned up to date. “Basically, the tweets were deleted because some of the concept has changed, and I figured maybe just deleting the tweet and then tweeting more relevant information would be a better idea - which was actually not a good idea,” Kahraman said....
In an update on the company’s Call of Duty-related anti-cheat efforts, Activision confirmed it has issued more than 475,000 permabans in Call of Duty: Warzone to date. “Some have asked if we issue hardware bans. We do issue hardware bans against repeat, or serial, cheaters. This is an important part of our effort to combat repeat offenders,” Activision said. The idea behind a hardware ban is it permanently prevents a cheater from playing Warzone because simply creating a new and free account is no longer an option....
The game’s all-time Steam user review average has now ticked over into the “Mostly Positive” category, after starting at “Overwhelmingly Negative”. Developer Hello Games noted the milestone had been reached following the arrival of Frontiers, the game’s latest expansion released last week, and shared an insight into how Steam’s review metrics actually work. Moving from “Overwhelmingly Negative” to “Mixed”, Steam’s so-so middleground for games, took two years, Hello Games said....

With a $50/£30 price premium over the RTX 3060, Team Red will be looking to offer demonstrably better performance in most titles, while narrowing the gap in games that use hardware-accelerated ray tracing - a weakness for AMD this generation. The $399/£369 RTX 3060 Ti is also dangerously close to AMD’s new GPU, so we’ll have to see how these two graphics cards compare as well. Of course, whether the RX 6600 XT will actually make it to market at $379/£329 remains an open question....

Baby Shark, the children’s song that went viral a few years ago thanks to South Korean educational entertainment company Pinkfong, is getting an “open-world adaptation”. The game will be a collaboration between Baby Shark Games, a subsidiary of Pinkfong, and Retro Future, a developer who specialises in pixel games. The game, announced under the working title Baby Shark Universe, will allow players to “create their own content or enjoy content created by other players” by utilising Web3 and an “open-world ecosystem”....
The remixes are of original tracks by Camellia and Toki. “We promised you an anniversary gift, and here it is!” said the developers in a tweet. Judging by the accompanying video, the difficulty has certainly ramped up. The remixes also look to include some of the new lighting effects that were added to the game in a recent update alongside OST 5. Warzone’s stim has for some months now caused havoc in the battle royale, with the developers seemingly struggling to get on top of it. The stim is a piece of equipment that restores health points to your character and refreshes super sprint. It’s supposed to help players get out of tough situations, but it has also been used nefariously as part of a raft of troublesome glitches and exploits that just wouldn’t go away - despite multiple patches....
The M13B Assault Rifle is contentiously locked behind a challenge in Warzone’s DMZ mode and is a massive pain in the bottom to complete. However, players have also found a neat trick that means that only one person in your group of friends has to complete the challenge. That player can then “drop” the weapon for other members of the squad to pick up, extract, and unlock. But if no one in your group of friends has managed to unlock it, or you don’t have any friends, you can always turn to your good friend eBay....
