Though most Trophies are story related - and will unlock regardless of which Undertale ending you are shooting for - a surprising quantity are related to a Dog Shrine, newly added to the PlayStation versions. If you’re interested in help elsewhere, our Undertale walkthrough and Pacifist guide can help you spare everyone in the main quest, unless you want to play the game in the most evil way possible with a Genocide run. Story-related Trophies Most of the Undertale Trophies are story related, and will unlock naturally as you progress through the game. Though the game is fairly linear in its main route, there are several endings and variations of the story you’ll uncover, but no matter what choices you make, these will unlock regardless - which is a nice thing not to worry about. That said, if you are after the Platinum, you must not perform a Genocide run, or access to the Dog Shrine (see at the end of this page) is unavailable.
Ruins (Enter the Ruins.) Mouse (Reach the mouse hole in the Ruins.) Exodus (Arrive at Snowdin.) Manna (Get to the Spaghetti save point in Snowdin.) Midpoint (Arrive at Waterfall.) Rain (Reach the place where it rains.) Final Stretch (Enter Hotlands.) Final Stretch II (Enter Hotlands 2F.) Final Stretch III (Enter Hotlands 3F.) Good Luck (Reach the second save point in The Core.)
Item-related Trophies Among the first Trophies you’ll unlock involve collecting items - four to be exact, one for each additional item you collect. You’ll naturally collect these as you play through and unlock the Trophies above.
Don’t Worry, I Have Lots of Ideas for Trophies (Get an item.) Like Getting Items (Get two items.) Or Getting More Items (Get three items.) Help Me, I’m Out of Ideas (Get four items.)
Once you have done these - and the below Dog Shrine Trophies - you’ll unlock the Platinum Trophy. Playing Undertale? Our complete Undertale walkthrough and Pacifist guide will explain how to finish the game while sparing everyone, covering all areas including the Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotlands and The Core and more. You can also learn about how to unlock every Undertale ending and all Undertale Trophies, access hard mode and play the game in the most evil way possible with a Genocide run. The Dog Shrine is located in Papyrus’s house at the back of the kitchen. Make sure you spare him during the story (which means you must not be playing as part of a Genocide run) and head inside. Every so often ‘upgrades’ the Dog Shrine with no items. We won’t spoil the specifics, but if you want to see how this works, see the following video from Tealgamemaster: These are the Trophies with donation amounts in full:

You need a total of 350G to unlock all 15 Trophies - eight of which are Bronze, four Silver and three Gold - and as with other PlayStation Trophies, are all required before you can unlock a Platinum. That’s 350 donations, which has the game says, will take some time. Maybe one to chip away at with a podcast, or while on the Vita on your commute, eh?
