As part of the Festive Fervor event, which also has you hunting down Krampus, a pack of elves have invaded the multiplayer maps. It’s your task to hunt a few of them as part of the challenges for the duration of the event.
This guide explains how to kill 10 Elf Team Six members hiding in both Warzone and Vanguard.
Currently, as of Warzone Season 4, you can no longer complete this activity.

Once you’ve learned the ins and outs, don’t miss our best builds page for Vanguard Zombies. If you’re interested in regular multiplayer as well, we have a complete list of Call of Duty: Vanguard maps and an explainer on how to unlock Call of Duty: Vanguard operators.
In both Vanguard and Warzone the objective is the same: you have to kill 10 Elf Team Six Members in order to complete the challenge.
It’s not a hard challenge, but it will take some time. In both games, the elves tend to be rather elusive. They can hide close to crates, they can hide from objects that are in mid-air, and sometimes they’re in plain sight close to corners.
Unless you stumble upon one of them, it’s hard to notice where they are at first. While they’re quite rare in terms of how they look (as rare as an elf with human face can be), they don’t stand out in the levels that much.
The easiest way to know if there is a Warzone Elf nearby is to listen to their voices.
The Elf Team Six Members are always giggling or doing sounds - it’s very easy to distinguish them once you hear them for the first time. Bear in mind that bells not always indicate these, but rather drops happening in the sky.
Warzone Season 5 is almost here!
If you want to learn more about firepower from previously, we explain the best Welgun loadout, best Cooper Carbine loadout, best Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle loadout, best STG44 loadout, best MP40 loadout, best Automaton loadout, best BAR loadout, best Combat Shotgun loadout, best Type 100 loadout, and best Kar98k loadouts.
All you have to do is shoot them at a distance once spotted. This may be easier said than done amidst the fray of multiplayer matches, but that’s part of the challenge. They can be found across all multiplayer modes in both games, so try to be on the lookout for them during your game sessions in the event.
With the challenge complete, you will earn the Cookie Crumbler Calling Card, as well as counting towards the total of challenges needed to unlock the Stocking Stuffer blueprint.
Best of luck hunting elves in both Vanguard and Warzone!
